ModernFix - Comprehensive Minecraft Improvement

ModernFix is a universal mod that significantly enhances performance, reduces memory consumption, and fixes numerous bugs in modern Minecraft versions (most versions from 1.16 and above are supported) while maintaining the gaming experience. With ModernFix installed, most Forge modpacks for versions 1.16-1.19.2 launch approximately twice as fast. When certain additional settings are enabled, even large modpacks like All The Mods 8 can run with allocated memory of just 3 GB or less.
⚙️ Technical Capabilities
What exactly does ModernFix do for your game? The mod includes numerous improvements that can be divided into several main categories:
- Backporting bug fixes from newer versions of Minecraft and Forge, for example, fixing the issue of world corruption when removing dimension mods in version 1.18
- Fixes for mods that are no longer supported in specific Minecraft versions, allowing continued use without the need for updates
- Numerous optimizations to the game launch process, significantly speeding up loading and reducing the likelihood of random crashes
- Additional debugging tools to help modders and players determine the causes of rare game crashes and freezes
- Functionality to completely redesign the game's model loading system, replacing it with a dynamic version that loads models as needed (disabled by default due to potential compatibility issues)
- Ability to play the game with very little allocated RAM (even 512 MB or less)
🐛 Support and Troubleshooting

🎁 Recommended Additional Mods
To achieve maximum performance, it is recommended to use the following mods:
- LazyDFU for versions before 1.19.4 - eliminates lags caused by the DFU system
- Starlight for versions before 1.20 - significantly improves lighting performance and eliminates FPS drops when moving between chunks
- FerriteCore - optimizes Mojang's inefficient implementation of blockstates and models
- Mods to disable experimental feature notifications (Shutup Experimental settings or Yeetus Experimentus)
Important note: Using OptiFine in modded setups is not recommended. Instead, it's better to install Sodium (for Fabric) or Embeddium (for Forge).
