Monster Plus
The Monster Plus mod for Minecraft significantly enriches the gameplay by adding unique enemies characteristic of various game biomes, as well as special weapons and equipment crafted from resources obtained from them. This gives players additional incentives to explore the world and engage in battles.
New Mobs
Glow Skeleton
A special type of skeleton that appears only deep underground. It can be easily spotted from afar due to its natural glow, similar to that of a glow squid. This enemy is slightly stronger than regular skeletons and applies a glowing effect to targets, making them visible to other mobs. Can spawn with a bow or stone sword. Defeating it yields bones, arrows, glow ink, and sometimes glowstone dust or spectral arrows.

Lava Squid
A special type of squid that can fly and appears in groups in the Nether. Usually passive, but becomes aggressive when attacked, shooting fireballs and simultaneously calling all nearby lava squids for help. Defeating it yields blaze powder and magma cream.

Mother Lava Squid
A larger and stronger version of the lava squid, rarely appearing in the Nether. Always aggressive and instantly calls all nearby lava squids for help. While alive, constantly spawns new lava squids for support. Attacks with either one large fireball or multiple small ones. Drops the same loot as regular lava squids but with higher probability.

Crystalian
An underground crystalline creature resembling a zombie, attacking the player by summoning crystal spikes beneath their feet.

Hermit Abysswalker
A special type of illager, similar to an evoker, rarely appearing deep underground. Applies the darkness effect to the player (can be disabled in settings; in version 1.18, blindness is used instead) and attacks with fireballs, as well as with purple glowing crystal spikes that move towards the player and appear beneath them. Summons Opalescent Eyes and Spectral Minions for assistance.

Opalescent Eye
A glowing flying blind eye summoned by the Hermit Abysswalker to fight enemies. Relatively weak but can be dangerous in groups, especially when attacked simultaneously by the Hermit and its other minions.

Spectral Minion
A translucent glowing relative of the skeleton, weaker, summoned by the Hermit Abysswalker to fight enemies. Relatively weak but can be dangerous in groups, especially when attacked simultaneously by the Hermit and its other minions.

Swamp Monster
A special type of zombie appearing in swamp biomes and mangrove swamps, poisoning its enemies. Defeating it yields rotten flesh and sometimes mud.

Overgrown Skeleton
A special type of skeleton that does not burn in sunlight and appears in jungles and lush caves. Poisons attacked entities.

The spawning of all mobs can be disabled in the configuration file. In version 1.19.2, spawn rates and biomes can be modified using a datapack.
Equipment
Crystal Set
Defeating Crystalians and Hermit Abysswalkers yields Ancient Crystal Shards, which can be assembled into Ancient Crystals used to create powerful armaments.

A special consumable item that can be thrown to summon crystal spikes at the landing point.

A special sword slightly less powerful than a diamond sword but compensating for this with the ability to summon crystal spikes when attacking entities.
