More Beautiful Fences & Gates

Mod Overview

The More Beautiful Fences & Gates mod significantly expands Minecraft's decorative possibilities by adding approximately 240 new fence types and an equal number of gates to the game. All these elements are created based on textures from standard blocks in the vanilla version of the game.

Technical Requirements

For the mod to function correctly, the Blackwolf Library must be installed. All textures of the new objects can be modified using resource packs, ensuring full compatibility with any custom textures.

Crafting System

The crafting process begins with creating special frames for fences and gates. Any standard fences and gates from Minecraft can be used as the base. After creating the frame, it can be combined with any block whose texture you want to use for the new object.

Special Properties

Some fences and gates possess unique characteristics, such as the ability to emit light if the corresponding block has this property. One crafting cycle yields 3 units of the object.

Special Objects

The mod includes special types of fences and gates that require unique recipes for creation. These include: fire, soul fire, lava (2 versions), portal, and strange (textureless) variants. To view all recipes, it's recommended to use the Just Enough Items (JEI) mod.
