Huge Variety of Trapdoors

The More Beautiful Trapdoors mod dramatically expands the decorative possibilities of Minecraft by adding approximately 240 new trapdoor variants to the game. Each one is created based on textures from standard blocks in the vanilla version of the game.

Technical Features

The mod requires the installation of the Blackwolf Library to function. All trapdoor textures are extracted directly from the corresponding Minecraft blocks, allowing for easy customization of their appearance using resource packs. The mod is fully compatible with any resource packs and supports integration with Just Enough Items (JEI).

Crafting System

Creating new trapdoors begins with crafting a special trapdoor frame. Any standard trapdoor from Minecraft can be used as the base. The frame is then combined with the block whose texture you want to apply to the trapdoor.

Special Trapdoors

Some trapdoors require special crafting recipes. It's recommended to use JEI to view them. Special trapdoors include: fire trapdoor, soul fire trapdoor, lava trapdoor (2 versions), nether portal trapdoor, and strange trapdoor (no texture).

Some trapdoors, like their corresponding blocks, emit light, adding functionality to these decorative elements.
