More Cobblemon Move Animations
Are you dissatisfied with the current selection of move animations in Cobblemon? Please be patient - this project aims to add more animation effects!
Which Moves Now Have Animations?
In the latest update (1.3.af), colorful animations have been added for the following moves:
- Dragon Pulse - powerful dragon projectile
- Aura Sphere - energy sphere
- Make It Rain - animation with coin scattering
- Bitter Blade - fiery sword strike
- Discharge - electrical discharge
- Bulk Up - visual enhancement effect
- Teleport - instant movement
- Earthquake - seismic attack
- Twinkle Tackle - Z-move with sparkles
- Self-Destruct - explosive finale
Future Plans
Each subsequent update plans to add from 1 to 3 new animation effects. The selection of new animations is determined by the Cobblemon Discord community from a proposed list of moves I provide.
Installation
This addon combines both resource pack and data pack into a single file format. The resource pack must be placed in your client's resource pack folder or activated via ESC → Options → Resource Packs. The data pack needs to be installed in the world's data pack folder or added through More → Data Packs during world creation.
For fans of mod format, a special download option is provided as a full-fledged mod.
