

Mostly Server Side capes Mod
A straightforward mod that enables cape functionality in Minecraft. This addition allows you to use different capes for each server or maintain the same cape for a specific world.
Available Commands
Cape Operations
/cape byUrl {URL_address}
- set a cape using a link/cape byName {name}
- select a cape by name or alias/cape providers {skinmc|optifine|minecraftapi|minecraftcape}
- change cape sources/cape reset
- reset current cape
Skin Changes
Note! This feature is available from version 2.0.0 only
/skin url {skin_type} {URL_address}
- load a skin from URL/skin reset
- restore default skin
All mod commands, starting from version 2.0.1, are executed through /mostlyserversidecapes {command}
.
Compatibility
The mod supports various cape sources:
- Official Optifine capes
- Free Optifine capes
- Custom capes via URL
- User-defined capes
Since version 2.0.1, the mod is compatible with Fabric Tailor and automatically disables some of its functions when in use.
How It Works?
All capes are stored server-side, ensuring stable display on the client. You can easily switch between different options depending on your gaming environment.
