This datapack provides an innovative transport and logic system for process automation in the game. The core concept involves transforming standard trapdoors into elements of an automated movement system through functional modifications.
Core Mechanisms
Trap doors serve two fundamental functions depending on their material type:
Birch trapdoor - moves objects in the direction it faces. Ideal for creating conveyor transport systems.
Oak trapdoor - completely stops movement of items and entities above it. Perfect for control points and temporary storage.
Extended Functionality
Special modifier blocks placed beneath the trapdoor dramatically expand the system's capabilities:
- Slime block - instantly teleports objects 2 blocks upward
- Honey block - similarly moves objects 2 blocks downward
- Cauldron - operates as a conveyor splitter; lowers objects when activated by redstone
- Emerald block - extracts items from inventory blocks located underneath
- Hopper - requires placement above the trapdoor; dispenses its own contents when triggered
- Observer - enables redstone circuit integration by activating during object passage
- Brewing stand - applies temporary effects to entities based on potion types
Practical Applications
The system works effectively with items, mobs, minecarts, and boats (excluding players). This allows for creating complex automation setups for farms, sorting systems, and transport routes. Multilevel conveyors utilizing modifiers offer extensive opportunities for technical creativity.
