Transform Wood into Useful Resources

The Mulch mod completely reimagines the use of wooden materials in Minecraft. Instead of simply burning unwanted wooden items, you can now efficiently recycle them into valuable resources for farming and decoration.

Wood Chipper

The central element of the mod is a special block - the wood chipper. It is crafted from a stone cutter, hopper, and four iron ingots. This device allows you to grind various wooden items into wood chips.

Any wooden blocks boards, logs, stairs, slabs, buttons, and even entire chest boats can be processed into chips. The resulting wood chips are perfect for composting, providing a way to produce bone meal from wooden waste.

Creating Mulch

Wood chips serve as the basis for making mulch. Arrange chips in a 2×2 square on a crafting table to obtain this useful material. All types of wood can be turned into different types of mulch.

Mulch opens up new customization possibilities - it can be dyed in various colors. The undyed version can be converted back into planks by arranging it in a 2×2 square.

Practical Applications

Mulch serves as an excellent base for plants. You can grow flowers, saplings, berry bushes, and agricultural crops on it. The advantage is that plants on mulch do not require water irrigation.

Crops on mulch develop significantly faster than on regular farmland. This makes mulch an excellent replacement for traditional farms, allowing you to get more harvest in less time.
