Multi Mob Library - Minecraft Mob Framework
Important Update: When updating from previous versions to 1.0.4, you must refresh your configuration files! We apologize for any inconvenience.
If you're experiencing crashes related to SpawnPlacementType, we recommend updating Optifine to the latest version.
What is This Mod?
Multi Mob Library is a fundamental framework that powers the author's other mob-related mods. Specifically, it's essential for the proper functioning of Primitive Mobs and The Summoner. The main purpose of creating this library was to prepare for the upcoming Atmosmobs project.
The developer decided to extract common code into a separate module to avoid duplicating functionality across different mods and simplify the update process. This also allows other mod creators to utilize this library's capabilities in their own projects.
Key Features
The library provides the following functions:
- Serves as a mandatory dependency for Primitive Mobs and The Summoner mods
- Allows configuration of spawn parameters for mobs from related mods
- Enables adding new spawn points for existing mobs with various settings
- Increases the overall number of spawning mobs (including vanilla and from other mods)
- Generates information files with all identifiers of installed mobs in the config/multimob/modinformation folder
Troubleshooting
New spawn settings aren't working or limits aren't applying: Before seeking help, make sure you've restarted the game and tested the functionality in a new world - this often resolves the issue.
Game crashes: Please create a detailed error report describing the problem and attach crash information if possible.
Note about the visual element: The wizard image serves only as a visual representation of the mod and is not a playable character - this is exclusively a library module.
