Video Demonstration
How to Use
To create a new camera, use the command /multicam
.
After executing the command, a separate window will open showing the camera's viewpoint.
Control the camera position using standard movement keys and mouse, while the mouse wheel handles zoom functionality.
To close the camera, simply close the corresponding window.
By default, the refresh rate in camera windows is 60 frames per second (without vertical synchronization).
You can change the target frame rate using the command /multicam fps_target YOUR_FPS_VALUE
.
Advantages and Features
MultiCam technology allows simultaneous display of multiple viewing angles without the need to run additional Minecraft clients.
This solution offers high performance and easy setup, eliminating the need for additional accounts, dedicated memory allocation, and CPU resource consumption. You can add additional cameras while continuing to use your browser!
Disadvantages include some performance reduction since the entire rendering process runs in a single thread.
When you have numerous available processor cores and ample RAM, running separate game clients might be more efficient.
For Server Owners
Due to the specific possibilities provided by this mod, usage is only permitted with server administration approval.
More specifically: MultiCam functionality is available under the following conditions:
