
Multishot - Automatic Timelapse Recording in Minecraft
Multishot is a specialized mod for automatic screenshot capture at set intervals, perfectly suited for timelapse creation and other video projects. The mod offers several camera movement modes and basic zoom functionality.
Key Features
Starting from version 3.2.0, Multishot features a free camera mode that allows easy timelapse recording of building projects even in single player. The current 3.x.x version is completely rewritten for Forge/FML, ensuring compatibility with most mods for this platform.
Timelapse Setup
To start recording, configure the main parameters: frame interval, save folder, image format, and enable automatic motion. Recommended settings include approximately 1.0 second intervals and PNG format for maximum quality.
Automatic Stop Options
The mod provides four automatic stop options:
- OFF - manual stop
- Video - stop after reaching required frame count for video
- Real - stop after elapsed real time
- Shots - stop after specific number of screenshots
Free Camera Mode
Version 3.2.0 introduces free camera movement mode, enabling recording from different angles. The camera operates within loaded chunks.

Motion Modes
Linear Mode
Constant linear movement along axes with set speed.
Circle Mode
Movement along a circle around a set point. Set center with blue marker (HOME + P) and target with red marker (END + P).
Path Mode
Create routes through path points. Add points with P, insert new points with INSERT + P, delete closest point with DEL + P.
