Mutated Items

We present to your attention a unique Mutated Items modification that turns ordinary Minecraft items into unusual creatures. To create a mutated item, simply throw it into a Nether portal - with a 10% probability it will transform into a new creature.

Unique Creatures

Torchy

A small companion that immediately becomes attached to the player after placement. Although quite fragile, this firefly is ready to illuminate your world at any cost. In dark areas, it automatically turns into a torch. Torchy sets zombies and other hostile creatures on fire despite its low durability.

Spawning Hutch

This cage is created by placing a Jack o'Lantern on a dungeon spawner, after which it gains arms and legs. It functions like a regular spawner but with one feature - it feeds on zombie flesh, blaze rods, magma cream, bones, and gunpowder. After digesting these items, Spawning Hutch absorbs the mob into its core and spawns it every 30 seconds.

Straw Dummy

A perfect training target that shows the strength of your strikes. However, be careful - too strong sword or axe blows may get stuck in the straw. This target attracts the attention of all nearby hostile creatures, and blazes can set it on fire, dealing additional damage.

Slimy Bear

This jelly bear becomes increasingly appetizing in its bear form. If it seems too bland to you, you can add a potion to change its color and taste. Removed parts can be restored by filling the voids with slimeballs.

Cursed Tome

A demon exiled from the underworld for its thirst for power, tears pages from the book and turns them into energy blades. When the blades turn red, they may carry a curse that sticks to your armor and deals massive damage. Legends say that one of these creatures was strong enough to defeat a Wither.

Ender Hull

These endermites, trapped in their pearl, possess great instability. When struck on their shell, Ender Hull swaps places with the player. They may appear when an enderman dies and make many enderman farms useless.

End Hammerhead Shark

A hammerhead shark that swims between the central End island and End cities. Its bedrock skin makes it invulnerable to physical attacks, but the heart made of End crystal is vulnerable. When hit in the heart, the shark explodes, so using ranged weapons is recommended.

Echo Despoiler

This sculk goblin stores experience in its skin. Its gloves allow it to steal experience levels from players, but all lost levels can be recovered by defeating this creature. Unlike its counterpart from the Deep Dark, it has health comparable to a player's and can be easily defeated with an iron sword.

Furnace Golem

Created by placing a carved pumpkin on a furnace. Initially it doesn't burn, and needs to be lit with fuel (coal, lava, etc.). The stronger the fuel, the longer the golem will burn. An item for smelting can be placed in its main hand - the golem smelts items faster than a regular furnace but reduces burning time.

Nether Crab

This marble crab is harmless but very useful for quickly gaining experience. It loves quartz and can crush it with its large claws, releasing experience. It's not very greedy and leaves enough experience to gain several levels.

Shear Ants

These aggressive ants are used by villagers to shear sheep. They automatically climb onto sheep and shear wool, but don't care about it and just leave it on the ground.

Redstone Bug

Hides in redstone ore, like silverfish in stone. It loves redstone circuits and can consume an entire line of redstone dust, becoming increasingly brighter. After satiation, it can produce a signal strength of 10.

Chest Sprite

A passive creature that hides in illager mansion chests and loves to follow players. If it stays near you long enough, it may grant a regeneration effect.

Dissolved Enderman

Appears when an enderman is hit by the Ender Dragon. An aggressive and extremely corrosive creature whose attacks ignore armor and deal damage directly. Attacks in an area, similar to Ender Dragon's breath.

Cauldron Bud

This cauldron can store up to 32 buckets of any liquid, even from other mods. For convenient transportation, you can climb inside the cauldron. Among villagers, it has a bad reputation as golems associate it with witches.

Blaze Fox

A neutral fox made of blaze rods that can be tamed with coal. It behaves like a dog but attacks from long range by shooting three fireballs. Unlike its distant relative, it's not afraid of water.

The modification is compatible with modpacks.
