MysticRift: In To The Darkness

Are you ready to experience true horror in Minecraft? This mod fundamentally changes the gameplay by adding an element of unpredictability and fear. When taking damage from hostile mobs - whether zombies, ghasts, spiders, or other creatures - your character is instantly plunged into complete darkness for 2 seconds.

Imagine this: you're fighting monsters in a cave or on the surface at night, and suddenly after an enemy hit, your screen goes completely black. You can't see anything around you, you don't know where the next attack will come from. This creates a tense atmosphere of true survival where every mistake could cost you your life.

But all is not lost! The darkness effect can be removed by drinking regular milk - a proven remedy against negative effects in Minecraft. This adds a strategic element: you always need to have a supply of milk with you or be prepared for temporary disorientation in combat.
