What is NappyCraft?

📖 NappyCraft is a Minecraft mod designed to support therapeutic and accessibility-focused roleplay. It allows players to experience the game through the lens of individuals who may require nappies/diapers due to medical needs, disability, or as part of Therapeutic Age Regression (TAR) practices.

This mod provides a respectful, non-sexual environment where users can explore self-care routines, developmental roleplay, and caregiving dynamics in a light, supportive way. NappyCraft may also offer comfort to individuals managing continence-related conditions in real life, by allowing them to represent those experiences in-game.

NappyCraft was developed with inclusivity and accessibility in mind. It supports users with various needs from those using Therapeutic Age Regression (TAR) for emotional regulation or stress relief, to individuals who want to represent their medical realities authentically within Minecraft.

Messing? 📖 No. NappyCraft will not include a bowel function, now or in the future.

This decision is made out of respect for our community, as well as for the purpose and tone of the mod. NappyCraft is designed to support Therapeutic Age Regression (TAR), medical realism, and inclusive accessibility not to simulate functions that may be distressing, inappropriate, or harmful to the intended audience. Introducing a bowel function does not align with the goals of TAR-based roleplay or health-positive engagement. It would not promote emotional safety, therapeutic benefit, or comfort especially for individuals who live with incontinence-related challenges in real life.

Furthermore, Minecraft and its modding community increasingly serve a broad, family-friendly audience, including users as young as 10. Content included in NappyCraft must remain suitable within these age guidelines.

For these reasons:

  • This feature will not be added to NappyCraft under any circumstance
  • Communities that attempt to introduce this are not endorsed, supported, or recommended
  • Users are strongly advised against installing or promoting such content, as it contradicts the purpose and values of this mod

Our commitment is to maintaining a respectful, supportive space for therapeutic play and accessibility not sensationalism or discomfort.

Why wetting is included—and why bowel function is not?:

Wetting is supported, therapeutic, and significantly safer than fecal incontinence in both physical and emotional respects:

  • Less health risk: Urine exposure is far less damaging than fecal matter, which carries a risk of skin irritation, bacterial infection, and hygiene-related health complications.
  • Safer emotional terrain: Accidental wetting (enuresis) is relatively common and far less stigmatized than fecal incontinence. Though still emotionally distressing, urine leakage generally causes less shame or psychological trauma than bowel accidents. The latter is strongly associated with significant emotional distress, isolation, and long-term psychiatric impact.

From a psychological standpoint:

  • Age regression(intentional or involuntary) often involves stress relief or trauma coping through behaviors like wetting. Such experiences can align with therapeutic processes in TAR, helping users feel safe, soothed, or emotionally regulated without causing harm
  • Voluntary wetting in controlled, consenting roleplay can reflect real-world coping or self-soothing mechanisms. Unlike fecal accidents, it does not introduce health hazards or intense social stigma.

In contrast, bowel function presents multiple concerns:

  • High psychological and physical risk: Fecal incontinence is strongly associated with emotional trauma, poor self-image, depression, and social isolation. Its simulation is not therapeutic and can be painful or triggering for many users
  • Incompatibility with mod intent and audience: NappyCraft is intended as a family-appropriate, PG–10+ mod supportive of TAR-based self-regulation. Adding bowel mechanics would exceed the intended rating and disturb the mod’s respectful tone.
  • Hygiene implications: Fecal waste requires significantly more management and care than wetting. Simulating it in-game without proper purpose promotes sensationalism, not therapeutic realism.

Other PG/G related Media tha covers Wettings:

Wetting-related topics—such as pants-wetting or bedwetting—are present in numerous G to PG-rated media, including The Simpsons, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Finding Nemo, Despicable Me, and Frozen. These references are often used for humor, embarrassment, or plot development, and are typically handled in a lighthearted or comedic tone.

However, in contrast to these portrayals, NappyCraft approaches wetting from a respectful, supportive, and therapeutic perspective. Rather than using it for humor or shame, wetting in NappyCraft is implemented to reflect the lived experiences of individuals who may deal with continence needs due to medical conditions, disabilities, or as part of Therapeutic Age Regression (TAR). It is handled thoughtfully, without graphic detail, and in alignment with the mod’s focus on emotional comfort, realism, and accessibility.

Who is this for?

📖 NappyCraft is designed for players who benefit from or relate to themes of medical support, disability inclusion, and Therapeutic Age Regression (TAR) or just wants to play a with our mod.

Its primary audience includes:

  • Individuals who experience incontinence due to medical or neurological condition Players engaging in TAR-based roleplay for emotional regulation, stress relief, or trauma recovery
  • Users who want to see their real-life needs reflected respectfully within the Minecraft world
  • NappyCraft creates a supportive, non-judgmental space where wearing nappies/diapers in-game is normalized, empowering users to feel more comfortable, validated, and included.

However, like all Minecraft extra content, this mod is entirely optional. If it doesn’t align with your interests, you’re under no obligation to install, use, or interact with it. Minecraft is about creativity and freedom—everyone plays their game their own way, and we encourage mutual respect across all playstyles.

NappyCraft is here for those who need it. For others, simply choosing not to use it is enough.

  • Wetting: We have created a wetting system what when using our bottles has a chance to for you to become wet, you can also advance this yourself by using the /wet command, want to keep a track of that wet level? use /iswet.
  • Pallets: We enable the builder in people so if you love making Warehouses you can use our Pallets of nappies/diapers.

  • Nappy/Diaper Buff control: as of 1.0.7.3 the game rule doNappyBuffs was added so users can enable and disable nappy/diaper buffs
  • NappyCraft as become Regressia Compliant, please view the change logs for full information, if the mod as asked you to read the Warning Message then you came to the right place.
  • DoNappyWarning - New game rule to work along side servers and respecting Regressia's rules as of 1.0.7.5
  • DoManualWearing - New game rule to help make makers and server owners to make user use drink to wet if this is set to fault it will disable the /wet command from working as of 1.0.7.5
  • Phantom Nappies - As of 1.0.7.8 we will have Phantom nappies/diapers, this nappy/diaper gives you all the buffs but none of the armour levels/item so you can still year your own armour.
  • DoNappyHealth -  New game rule to disable the health change, as of 1.0.9.0.
  • DoNappyScale - New game rule to disable player scaling when wearing a nappy, as of 1.0.9.0. In 1.1.x.x this will be changed to a food item, disabling Scale will just enable the item to be food and wont skrink or grow the player.

Can I remove the Nappy/Diaper Buffs

  • This is now a yes, as of 1.0.7.3 a new game rule as been added doNappyBuffs what is enabled by default but you can do /gamerule doNappyBuffs false and it will disable the buffs offered by the nappies/diapers this will not remove the curse of binding this is there for a good reason and never will be removed and any addons doing this might even be black listed by our mod.

  • In 1.0.9.0 we added balance to the health to 3 hearts, with this some users like to go back to the older ways of doing it so we have added a game rule for this /gamerude doNappyHealth false and this will reviert it to older system where there was no balance on the health. Set Nappy Health in world creation under game rules under the player section.

  • In 1.0.9.0 we added the abillity to shink the player and some people would like to remove this, we added the game rule /gamerule doNappyScale false this will disable the scalling, Scale Player In Nappy in world creation under game rules under the player section. NappyScaling will be removed after the 1.0.9.x versions and changed to a Scaling item/food, this will give users more control over the Scaling, and Health will be busted to 4 hearts in versions after 1.0.9.x

Note: The binding is there as A balance mechanic, it's also there to stop users from abusing the armor in dispenser's trick what could create not disabled or willing regression users to be bullied to wear a nappy/diaper on a given server. it also helps regression users to simulate needing extra steps to be changed showing them it's not all fun and games to regress and also lets the disabled people whom are using nappies to still cope with there illness to feel that we have taken this limitation in to account and not just made wearing a big joke.

How do I review recipes?

❓ It seems a few users are brand new to Minecraft modding and to you guys I welcome you and they keep asking about recipes, well as most mod users and mod creators rely on tools now like JEI or REI to show the user the recipes from any given mod

It seems JEI does not work or always show all our recipes at times so please give the https://modrinth.com/mod/nappycraft/gallery a view, click on a image to view more there is about 3 per image.

I advice you to use JEI, reason I say this is this is the one I have tested with our mod, when you press E or at the Crafting Table with JEI installed you will get a large list of items, in the box at the bottom right type @NappyCraft to find all the NappyCraft recipes.

🌐 Download JEI, enjoy.

Will there be free hosting support?

📖 Free hosting live on ads and pushing you to get a paid service, my mod would lose out of ads myself if I enabled this option, people already disrespect me for making this mod, so if your server does not let you upload a mod via a control panel or ftp then I am sorry I am not going to put money in to there pocket.

Forge/Backports

📖 We have no plans to backport any of our mods, also Forge might be a more bulky mod loader but there is good reason for this, it's feature set is much larger and Fabric isn't able to compete with this, also Fabric also hasn't hold up to it's ideals from the start what they promised us so yes in some cases Fabric is faster then some mods compared to Forge, but this is because right now Fabric does not have the over head Forge has, also Forge is much easier to stack other Forge mods on top, The way Fabric is created is a mod takes used of one part of the loader it can lock other mods out creating problems or even crash's the mod creator isn't at fault, this is how Fabric is designed they just don't stack.

📖 We advise you to use Forge but this is because yes big mod packs are a pain in Forge but you can swop and change and debug much better Fabric has a future but our team does not like Fabrics false promise's and how they not try act there better then Forge, Forge is floored we know this but they tried and not act like there better then other mod loaders.
