Core Mechanic: Karma

The karma system is the central element of this modification. Your karma level determines your ability to use various items and the destination of teleportation when using the Wooden Cross.

Increase your karma by using good or evil items, as well as by eliminating corresponding mobs.

Magical Items

Staves and Wands

Necrum - a basic gem for crafting staves that summon various servants:

• Necromancer Staff - summons a tamed Lost Soul for melee combat
• Druid's Corpse Costur - creates one Druid's Corpse
• Wraith Wand - summons a Wraith that creates two copies of itself upon death
• Witch Wand (obtained from Wicked Witch) - throws fireballs
• Fly Staff - summons three Small Flies

Magic Books

• Necronomicon - teleports to the Nether with immortality and flight for 1 minute
• Book of the Dead - summons 5 powerful Undead Servants
• Satanic Bible - creates a fireball in front of the player
• Book of 7 Sins - summons 2 hostile Imps with improvement on each use
• Bible - strikes all surrounding enemies with lightning

Pacts and Equipment

Three types of Pacts take 9.5 hearts but provide different rewards.

Armor:

• Necro Armor - better than leather, provides Night Vision II and Luck II
• Wraith Armor - superior to iron, provides Slow Falling and Jump Boost
• Bone Armor - similar to Wraith Armor, provides Haste II and Bad Luck II

Bone tools are superior to their iron counterparts.

Additional Items

• My Reflection - summons 2 Shadows (10 uses)
• Sacred Heart - works like Totem of Undying with powerful effects
• Dead Cat - chance to drop from cats, protects from death
• Sacrificial Dagger - destroys itself upon use, provides Blood
• Dark Prince Crown - provides various effects when worn
• The Halo - provides defensive bonuses
• Holy Water - deals damage when thrown
• Soul Harvester - collects soul fragments from enemies
• Rosary - destroys all entities (3 uses)

New Dimensions

Wooden Cross teleports to Hell, Heaven, or Purgatory depending on karma.

Bosses and Structures

Boss summoning items:

• Lord of Flies - summons Belzebub
• Spirit of the Night - summons Leviathan
• Head of the Goat - summons Satan
• Angel Statue - summons Archangel Gabriel (generates in the world)

New amazing structures appear in the Nether.

Music and Inspiration

The musical component is inspired by The Binding of Isaac and the composition Lillium from Elfen Lied.
