NemexLib
NemexLib is a library mod primarily designed for working with the Thaumcraft 4 API. This library contains numerous useful utilities and tools that simplify the development of addons for this popular magical modification.
For proper operation, NemexLib requires the latest version of Thaumcraft 4 to be installed.
Main Features
The library offers developers the following useful functions:
- Simplified use of the Thaumcraft 4 API
- Ready-to-extend modules for working with logging systems, configuration, integrations, and OreDict
- Helper classes for finding items and blocks from other mods in the Forge registry
- Tools for creating deep copies of ItemStacks with the ability to edit stack size
- New API for Thaumcraft that simplifies adding tabs, research, and editing research pages
- AResearch class containing numerous tools for convenient research creation
- Aspects class that facilitates the creation of aspect lists
- Complete functionality for adding and removing recipes for both vanilla Minecraft and Thaumcraft 4
Supported recipe types include IRecipe, Arcane, and Crucible recipes. Future updates plan to add support for infusion recipes.
Licensing
The library is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license. This means you can:
- Use the mod to create your own addons and earn money from them
- Choose any license for your created addons
- Monetize modpacks containing this library
At the same time, you must provide attribution and a link to the original mod, provide a link to the license, and indicate if any changes were made to the library. Creating and distributing derivative versions of this library is not permitted.
Despite the seemingly strict license, it allows for almost all tasks that typically arise for mod developers and pack creators.
