Nether Portal Configurator — Nether Portal Access Control
⚡Nether Portal Configurator is a lightweight mod specifically designed for modpack developers, map creators, and server administrators.
This tool allows you to completely change how Nether portals are activated and set any conditions for their opening! By default, the mod is not intended for use in Survival Mode without prior configuration of access rules.
Does it sometimes seem that reaching the Nether is too simple and predictable? The first few times it's interesting, but then the process becomes routine. With Nether Portal Configurator, you can add an element of surprise and new challenges for players!
The mod opens up possibilities for a creative approach to one of the key elements of progression in Minecraft, introducing an additional step before opening a portal to the Nether.
🎯 Key Features
- Select an item in the configuration (by default set to Nether Star, which doesn't make logical sense — it's the user's task to set the desired item!)
- A player can only activate a Nether portal after obtaining the specified item
- Without the required item, the player cannot activate the portal either with flint and steel or by lightning strike
- When first successfully opening a portal, the player receives an achievement that removes restrictions on further portal use. The item only needs to be obtained once
- The mod was created because existing alternatives didn't fully meet the author's needs for fine-tuning portal access
