Nether Star Pickaxe is a concise modification that gives players the ability to relocate mob spawners to new locations.

Core Mechanics

To access this functionality, you first need to craft a special Nether Star Pickaxe using the shown recipe. When you use this unique tool to mine a spawner, it drops as an item while preserving all its characteristics and settings. The pickaxe works in both Survival and Creative game modes.

Preserved Parameters

The spawner retains crucial parameters: spawn intervals from minimum to maximum, activation distance to player, and most importantly, the type of mob it generates.

Technical Specifics

Key Limitation: The SpawnPotentials field in the spawner structure is not preserved. The mod creator considers this behavior justified to prevent situations where players wonder why a spawner, modified using a spawn egg, suddenly reverts to its original state.

Known Issues

Important Warning: Do not place the saved spawner in a Block Placer from Cyclic mod. This won't crash the game but may cause undesirable consequences.
