Neutral Hostiles
This datapack is specially designed for Minecraft players who prefer peaceful gameplay without aggressive mobs but don't want to completely give up challenges and obtaining rare items.
Mod Features
Unlike the standard peaceful mode where hostile mobs are completely absent, this datapack allows monsters to spawn in the world but makes them neutral towards the player. All enemy creatures will only passively observe you until you take the first aggressive action against them.
Benefits of the Approach
When using this datapack, you'll be able to obtain all valuable resources from hostile mobs (such as blaze rods, creeper charges, and other important items) while enjoying relative safety of world exploration. The system creates balanced conditions - challenging enough to maintain interest, but without constant threats of unexpected attacks.
List of Modified Creatures
Neutral behavior applies to the following mob types:
Blaze, Creeper, Drowned, Elder Guardian, Endermite, Evoker, Ghast, Guardian, Hoglin, Husk, Magma Cube, Phantom, Piglin Brute, Pillager, Ravager, Shulker, Silverfish, Skeleton, Slime, Spider, Cave Spider, Stray, Vex, Vindicator, Witch, Wither Skeleton, Zoglin, Zombie, Zombie Villager
Installation and Usage
The installation process is extremely simple: download the latest datapack version compatible with your Minecraft version and move the file to your world's datapacks folder (located at saves/world_name/datapacks). After that, execute the /reload command in-game. A system message will appear confirming successful mod loading - you can start playing!
