No Default Auto-Jump
This extremely simple mod performs one specific task — automatically disables the default auto-jump feature when a player loads a modpack for the first time. This occurs in situations where the options.txt file is missing, meaning during the initial launch of the modpack.
This solution is particularly useful for modpack creators who want their players to immediately dive into the gameplay without needing to manually disable auto-jump — a feature that most players find inconvenient and prefer to deactivate.
It's important to note that unlike some similar mods for previous versions of Minecraft, this mod does not block the ability to use auto-jump. Players can re-enable this option in the settings at any time, and their choice will be saved.
For more granular control over default parameters, it's recommended to use the Default Options mod, which provides advanced control over initial settings.
Compatibility note: If the mod isn't working and you have FoamFix installed, change the "initOptions" parameter in the config/foamfix.cfg file to false, then delete the options.txt file.
