NoCube's Zombie Mobs
About the Modification
The NoCube's Zombie Mobs modification introduces dangerous zombified versions of regular creatures into the game, which are aggressively hostile towards their living counterparts, players, and villagers. These hostile creatures spawn in the dark like standard zombies, or with a 50% chance (by default) when an animal dies at night. The transformation can be prevented by killing the animal with an item enchanted with "Smite." Zombie animals burn in sunlight (by default).

Types of Zombie Creatures
First Group
- Zombie Chicken. Due to its small size, it easily passes through narrow gaps one block wide. Drops rotten flesh and feathers.
- Zombie Pig. Explodes after some time when set on fire, but does not burn under sunlight. Drops rotten flesh.
- Zombie Goat. Has powerful knockback when attacking, can stun the target and cause nausea. The stun effect reduces horizontal movement speed by 50%. Drops rotten flesh.
- Zombie Sheep. Gains an armor boost at low health. Attacks sheep. Drops rotten flesh and wool.
- Zombie Cow. Attacks players, causing nausea and launching them into the air. The effect is stronger if the target is already in the air. Drops rotten flesh and leather.
- Zombie Mushroom. Upon death, explodes, creating toxic clouds that cause nausea and poisoning.

Second Group
- Zombie Cat and Ocelot. Inflicts poisonous scratches with its claws that cause decay and gains speed at low health. Drops rotten flesh and string.
- Zombie Fox. Steals food from the player's main and off-hand, gains speed at low health. Drops rotten flesh.
- Zombie Wolf. Has a weak life-steal ability. Drops rotten flesh.
- Zombie Panda. Causes hunger. Drops rotten flesh and rarely slimeballs.

Third Group
- Hostile Zombie Horse. Different from the standard zombie horse. Has medium knockback and a chance to cause slowness.
- Zombie Donkey. Has medium knockback and a chance to cause mining fatigue.
- Zombie Mule. Does not spawn naturally, appears only when a mule is killed.
- Zombie Llama. Extremely dangerous due to its ranged poisonous spit attack. Drops rotten flesh and leather.
- Zombie Bear. Gains a damage boost at low health. Drops rotten flesh.
- Zombie Dolphin. Inflicts a "drowning" effect, forcing the player to sink to the ocean floor. Drops rotten flesh.
- Zombie Turtle. Causes mining fatigue for one minute. Drops rotten flesh and seagrass.
- Zombie Squid. When attacking a player, stops before exploding, releasing ink clouds and causing blindness.

Curing Zombie Creatures
You already know what to do: one splash potion of weakness + one golden apple, then wait 100 seconds (by default). The process is similar to curing zombie villagers. Since animals in Minecraft do not respawn naturally, you can make almost any animal renewable by capturing and curing zombie creatures!

Configuration
The mod configuration can be done via game rules when creating a world or in-game (for example: /gamerule zomobsTurnChance 27
). Currently, the mod has the following game rules:
- zomobsAttackAnimals. Defines whether zombie animals will attack their non-zombified versions. Default:
true
- zomobsHealing. Allows curing zombie animals. Default:
true
- zomobsCureTime. Time required to cure a zombie creature (in seconds). Default:
100
(like the standard zombie villager) - zomobsSunBurn. Defines whether zombie animals will burn in sunlight or not. Default:
true
- zomobsTurnChance. Chance for an animal to turn into a zombie version upon death at night. Default:
50%
