Nullshard

Bring the End to life with this mod inspired by Minecraft Dungeons' "Echoing Void" DLC!

Nullshard offers a refreshing update to existing End biomes, preserving their original atmosphere while adding new gameplay elements. The centerpiece is the beautiful Nullshard Crystal, a new ore that serves as a worthy alternative to Netherite rather than an upgrade to it.

When you craft items from this material, they have an amazing property - they float in the air. If you die in the void, your equipment will most likely remain buoyant. This doesn't work 100% of the time, so still exercise caution!

How to Improve Equipment

To craft Nullshard items, you'll need a special upgrade template - the Nullshard Upgrade Smithing Template. These rare blueprints can occasionally be found in End City chests and replicated using Echo Shards and Obsidian.

Armor Features

Nullshard armor may not seem as reliable as Netherite with its knockback resistance, but it has its own unique feature. Each piece of equipment gradually weakens the effects of Levitation and Slow Falling. When you wear a full set, you become practically immune to Levitation - the perfect solution for dealing with Shulkers!

Don't worry about the tools - they're designed to look impressive and match the aesthetics of the Nullshard material. They work just like other high-level tools.

End Vegetation Changes

Chorus plants now drop Chorus Stalks instead of Chorus Fruit when mined - a new type of wood that can be used to create beautiful magenta Chorus Planks. Chorus Flowers can only be obtained with Silk Touch - otherwise they drop Chorus Buds. The buds themselves drop Chorus Fruit when mined normally.

An interesting feature: if a Chorus Bud is positioned 12 blocks above an Endstone block with clear air space between them, it has a chance to develop into a full Chorus Flower.

New Blocks and Liquids

Unakite - a stylish stone type that generates near Acid pools, and more rarely near regular lakes. This stone can be used in all recipes requiring standard stone, as well as for creating its own set of building blocks.

Acid - a new dangerous liquid that poisons and damages any entity that comes into contact with it. This behavior is configurable through data tags: if you want to make some entity immune to acid, add it to the nullshard:acid_immune tag.
