NVL Force Fields Mod

Converted to version 1.21

High-definition texture pack and crafting recipes are available in the separate NVL's Blocks project.

Version 1.20.1

The Minecraft 1.20.1 version differs significantly from previous releases. The mod no longer depends on IndustrialCraft 2 or other energy-related modifications and doesn't use EU/RF systems.

As with other NVL creations, crafting recipes are accessible through the Universal Helper from a separate mod in the NVLBlocks collection.

The current version includes 4 new blocks:

• ForceField Door Column: Forms predetermined passage structures - two columns made from column blocks and one door controller.
• ForceField Door Controller: Manages the functioning of force field passages.
• ForceField Secure Door Controller: Secure version with access settings for users and configuration.
• ForceField Column: Creates the emitter field of the force barrier. Force fields feature advanced configuration options, supporting various shapes and horizontal deployment. The only limitation - all emitting columns must have direct connection or linkage through other columns to the controller.
• ForceField Controller: Main control module configurable for activation via redstone signals.

Previous Versions

This project continues NVL IC2 Machines, categorized for easier modpack creation. No longer depends on IndustrialCraft 2.

Force fields generate between emitters/controllers and columns. Emitters are special columns placed near controllers. Field activation works through controllers or redstone signals. Field color settings, user lists, and redstone control are modifiable with the Field Tuner.

Fields form through air, water, lava, and space (with WarpDrive), but are interrupted by any solid objects - even small plants.

Compatibility

Full compatibility with WarpDrive's ship rotation system (version 1.7.10).

Main Blocks and Items

• ForceField Column: universal endpoint for all force fields, compatible with any controller types.
• ForceField Controller: standard management of primary fields with activation through console or redstone signals.
• ForceField Controller Secure: enhanced functionality with ownership settings and user access controls.
• ForceField Door: specialized controller with length limit (3 blocks) and vertical-only deployment (thin as glass panes).
• Field Tuner: device for modifying force field parameters by applying to the controller.

To obtain crafting recipes in-game, use the command: /getnvlffhelp - activating the Helper with descriptions and manufacturing instructions.
