Nyf's Genetics
Introducing Genetics to the Minecraft World!
The Nyf's Genetics mod fundamentally changes the approach to breeding creatures in Minecraft by adding a comprehensive genetic system for standard mobs. Currently, the system works with villagers, but expansion to other creatures is planned for future updates.
Villager Genetic Traits
In the current version, 7 different genetic traits are available, each with at least 3 base options and additional mutation forms. Mutation options cannot be obtained through normal means - they only appear during the villager breeding process.

- Eyebrow Type
- Eye Color
- Hair Type
- Hair Color
- Height
- Nose Size
- Skin Tone
Breeding Mechanics
The breeding process uses principles of genetic inheritance based on Punnett squares. This means offspring inherit traits from both parents with a certain probability of mutations occurring, making each breeding process unique and unpredictable.
