Offhander

This small mod introduces two new keybinds into the game for more precise character control. By default, the Mouse 4 button is assigned for exclusive offhand use, plus a configurable key for mainhand-only actions.

In vanilla Minecraft, right-click processing follows this sequence:

• first checks for block interactions (buttons and other elements)
• then analyzes mainhand interaction possibilities (active slot)
• finally checks the offhand

Once a suitable action is found, other options are ignored. Offhander adds two special key combinations that enable:

• using only the main hand for interactions
• utilizing exclusively the offhand

This opens up many useful possibilities. For example, you can block with a shield while holding a trident, or prevent accidental torch placement from the offhand during construction.

Important warning: some anti-cheat systems may react negatively to the ability to block while using a bow, trident, or similar weapons. Use at your own risk.

Important to understand: the mod does not allow executing two interactions simultaneously! It only gives you more control over choosing the interaction type.
