Omega Mute - Complete Control Over Minecraft Sounds
Omega Mute provides players with advanced sound management capabilities in Minecraft. This mod allows precise customization of the game's audio environment by disabling or temporarily muting any unwanted sounds.
Available Commands
/omegamute reload- reloads all manual changes in the soundmap.txt file/omegamute query- shows all currently muted sounds/omegamute listen (all)- toggles the sound event listening mode/omegamute mute <string>- mutes all sounds containing the specified string/omegamute cull <integer> <string>- temporarily suppresses sounds containing the string for the specified number of seconds/omegamute unmute <string>- unmutes all sounds containing the specified string/omegamute settings serilum- configures the mod using Serilum's default settings
Sound Configuration
All sound settings are saved in the 'soundmap.txt' file located in the './config/omegamute/' folder. You can edit this file directly or use in-game commands.

Use the '!' prefix to mute a sound, and 'n-' to temporarily suppress it, where n indicates the number of seconds.

Listening Function
The mod includes a convenient listening function via the /omegamute listen command. This mode displays the names of all playing sounds, which can then be used for precise muting or suppression configuration.

Practical Examples
For example, to mute all pig sounds, use the '.pig.' identifier:

To unmute all sounds, use the wildcard character '.': /omegamute unmute .
