Omni

Omni is a modification that adds various content to Minecraft that could have been part of an official game update!
Main Features
Speleothems - natural formations that are affected by gravity, fill cauldrons, and deal damage. There are three varieties: stone, ice (icicles, fill cauldrons faster), and netherrack (in version 1.17 will fill cauldrons with lava).
Improved Concrete - concrete powder can be turned into layers (similar to snow) using a shovel. These layers maintain gravity and harden into concrete blocks of corresponding height when contacting water, expanding building possibilities.
Quilted Wool - regular wool can be crafted into quilted wool, which can then be made into quilted carpets with unique textures inspired by llama carpet patterns. Carpets support connected textures for creating complex floor designs. Wandering traders offer special wool and carpet variants.
Lotus Flowers - flowers that grow only in jungles, available in eight colors: red, orange, yellow, blue, purple, pink, black, and white. They add vibrant colors to jungles.
Red Rock - stone that generates underground in badlands biomes. Has a rich red color (brighter than red sandstone) and can be converted into brick, chiseled, pillar variants, as well as buttons and pressure plates with special properties.
Stackable Flowers - all vanilla flowers can now be stacked similar to turtle eggs or sea pickles. In the future, this feature will be automatically compatible with flowers from other mods.
Enchanted Golden Carrots - found in the same locations and crafted similarly to enchanted golden apples. Provide speed, night vision, and jump boost effects in addition to regeneration and saturation.
Ambient Sounds - forests, jungles, plains, and swamps have unique background sounds. You'll hear birds singing and crickets chirping in forests, exotic sounds in jungles, and much more.
Malachite Crystals - green geode variety that generates and grows similar to amethyst crystals. In version 1.17, one malachite block can be smelted into a copper ingot, providing renewable copper.
Cobbled Basalt - simple building block with basalt texture on all sides. Crafted from 2 cobblestone and 2 basalt.
Seahorses - spawn in warm oceans in coral colors. Drop corresponding corals with a chance of getting kelp. Tamed with kelp or seagrass. Large seahorses (size 6 and above) can be ridden.
Carved Wood - building block crafted from 4 blocks of corresponding wood. Uses modified textures from 1.13 pre-release.
Polar Bear Jockeys - polar bears have a 1 in 100 chance (configurable) to spawn with a stray riding them.
Zombie Horses - if lightning strikes both a horse and a zombie, the horse transforms into a zombie horse.
Planned Updates
- Vexed Glass - in development
- New Badlands and Desert Biomes - in development
- Saguaro Cacti and Tumbleweeds - in development
Additional Information
Issues can be reported on the GitHub repository.
The mod will not be ported to older Minecraft versions. Porting features from version 1.17 is also not planned, which is why malachite geodes use granite and diorite instead of tuff and calcite.
Compatibility with other vanilla-style mods is planned.
Use in modpacks is allowed.
