OneBar
A sleek interface mod for Minecraft: Java Edition running on Fabric.

Reviews by Niche Duck: main mod (v1.2.2), configuration (v1.2.2). Arena gameplay with customized OneBar (v2.3.1) by agata_m
How It Works
Key features:
- All values and bars are displayed only when you actually need them
- Positive effects, including health, are shown from left to right, while negative effects are displayed from right to left
- When hungry, a hunger overlay appears over the health bar
- If you start eating, the overlay disappears as it's no longer needed
- Underwater, the air bar is displayed above health and hunger since it's the most important indicator in that situation
Element arrangement:
- Health is always displayed as the first number
- Hunger is almost always shown last (except when under hunger effect)
- Additional health indicators or damage sources appear between them (can be disabled)
- You can enable display of additional icons for these elements in settings
Remember classic Minecraft without hunger and experience? This mod provides a visually similar experience while retaining all modern functionality.
The mod uses only client-side data, so it doesn't need to be installed on the server. Numerous settings are available for changing colors and visibility of various elements.
Installation
- Install Minecraft version 1.16 or newer
- Install Fabric Loader
- Download OneBar, Fabric API, Mod Menu, and Cloth Config API
- Place the downloaded JAR files in your Minecraft mods folder
- Launch the game!
Also works on Quilt, although specific support for this platform is not yet provided.
Compatibility with Other Mods
- Raised - moves OneBar and hotbar higher up, with adjustable height
- Auto HUD - automatically shows and hides OneBar elements as needed
- Exordium (beta) - improves interface performance
- OneBar + MCC Island Compat (unofficial) - disables OneBar when there's no health bar on MCC Island
- Flour's Various Tweaks and Head-down display - partial compatibility with auto-hide feature
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why does Cloth Config API need to be downloaded separately?
A: Because it's large, frequently updated, and you likely already have mods that require it. If one of your mods already includes it, you don't need to download it separately.
Q: How to change colors?
A: Press Esc → Mods → OneBar → configuration button. Colors are set in opacity + RGB HEX format, so choose opacity from the list and use any HEX color picker to select a color. For example, if you need 80% opacity (CC) for blue (0000FF), enter #CC0000FF.
Q: Forge support?
A: No. You can create a fork according to the license or check out my resource pack that inspired this mod.
Q: Backports for older versions?
A: No, Cloth Config is not cross-version compatible, and I don't recommend using old versions.
Q: Snapshot support?
A: Probably works, but settings may cause crashes if not updated.
