Openables

The Openables mod is a collection of loot crate-style items where the contents are determined through loot tables loaded from data tags within the mod.

Key Features

There are currently 8 different types of openable items. The main advantage of the system is that datapack and modpack developers can customize the loot tables to suit their needs, adding custom items to drops. For example, for "Passive Spawn Egg Openables", you can add spawn eggs from other mods using a datapack.

How to Use

The mechanics are extremely simple: just right-click on the item in your hand. The item will be consumed, and in return you'll receive a new item from the loot table.
