OptiCubes - Performance Optimization in Minecraft
Tired of FPS drops in your huge base filled with numerous machines and mechanisms? Even when you're on another floor and can't see them? Or perhaps there are certain blocks that heavily burden the system, and you'd prefer not to see them at all? Now these problems are solvable!
The OptiCubes mod allows hiding all tiles and special blocks in a specified area when you're further than a certain distance from it. It's important to note that hiding occurs only visually - all blocks continue to exist and function normally.
Basic Steps for Working with OptiCubes
Getting Started
Place Opti-Cube next to the area you want to hide. To start editing the region, use the combination Shift + Right-Click with Opti-Wrench in hand. To cancel editing, repeat this action.
Defining Area Boundaries
Using Opti-Wrench, click on the block that will be the first corner of the region. Then select the second corner of the area in the same way.
Setting Activation Distance
Holding Opti-Wrench in hand and looking at Opti-Cube, scroll the mouse wheel to change the activation distance.
Additional Features
By default, the Opti-Cube activation distance is 16 blocks. If you set the value to 0, the player won't see the region's content until they enter it. When setting the value to X, the region's content will never be displayed.
