Original Hopper Recipe
This mod is a simple data pack that restores the original crafting recipe for hoppers from an early Minecraft version. The hoppers we're used to today are made from iron ingots, but originally everything was different!
Historical Context
In the very first release, known as 13w01a, hoppers were introduced to the gaming world. At that time, they were crafted using regular stone blocks. However, already in the next update, 13w02a, the developers changed the crafting formula and switched to iron ingots.
Crafting Recipe
To get one hopper you will need:
Stone blocks are arranged as follows:
- Stone, Empty, Stone
- Stone, Chest, Stone
- Empty, Stone, Empty
A total of 5 stone blocks and 1 chest are used.
Compatibility
The mod works stably in versions from 1.13 to 1.20. Don't pay attention to the system warning about the data pack being outdated - this is normal and doesn't affect its functionality.
