Original Netherite Armor Recipes
This modification is a simple recipe pack that restores the old method of crafting ancientite armor without the need for a smithing table.
Historical context: in early versions (starting with 20w06a), players could create ancientite armor using a regular workbench. However, with the 20w10a update, Mojang changed the crafting system, making the use of a smithing table mandatory. This datapack brings back the time-tested and player-friendly mechanics.
Crafting Ancient Armor in Detail
Everything is extremely simple: to create one piece of ancientite armor you need the corresponding diamond part and just one ancientite ingot. The placement of ingredients in the workbench grid doesn't matter.
- Diamond helmet + ancientite ingot = ancientite helmet
- Diamond chestplate + ancientite ingot = ancientite chestplate
- Diamond leggings + ancientite ingot = ancientite leggings
- Diamond boots + ancientite ingot = ancientite boots
Technical Information: During installation, the game may indicate that the datapack version is outdated, but it's fully functional in all versions from 1.13 to 1.20.
