Origins Randomiser
This mod offers a unique approach to Origins gameplay by automatically assigning random origins during various events. High configurability allows adapting mechanics to any playstyle.
Main Features
Upon first joining a world, players are automatically assigned a random origin. Each death also results in switching to a new random origin. The mod supports a flexible system of lives and limitations for gameplay balance.
Operator Commands
/change lives [player] [number] — changes the number of lives for the specified player
/change uses [player] [number] — adjusts the number of available /randomise command uses
/set lives [player] [number] — sets the exact value of player lives
/set uses [player] [number] — specifies the exact number of /randomise uses
/toggleRandomiser — enables or disables origin randomization without server restart
General Commands
/randomise — allows a player to change their origin without dying or sleeping
Configuration Settings
Main Parameters:
randomiseOrigins — main randomization toggle
randomiseOnFirstJoin — assigning random origin on first join
randomiserMessages — notifications about origin changes
randomiseAllLayers — randomization of all origin layers
Command Settings:
randomiseCommand — availability of /randomise command
limitCommandUses — limitation of /randomise usage
randomiseCommandUses — maximum number of command uses
Lives System:
enableLives — enabling limited number of lives
startingLives — initial number of lives
livesBetweenRandomises — life interval between origin changes
Additional Options:
deathRandomisesOrigin — origin change upon death
sleepRandomisesOrigin — origin change after sleeping
sleepsBetweenRandomises — number of sleeps between changes
showOriginScreenOnDeath — showing origin selection screen after death
resetToHumanOrigin — reset to human origin instead of random
