oSzoukaua's: XP is Bottles!
Transforms all experience sources into convenient storage bottles of XP essence! Instead of the usual glowing experience orbs that drop when killing mobs, you now receive special bottles containing exactly the same amount of XP.
How does it work?
Let's take a specific example: if a creeper normally drops 3 experience orbs with values of 1, 3, and 7 units, with this mod, you'll get 3 bottles instead, each storing the corresponding amount of experience. Throwing such a bottle will give you back exactly the same number of XP orbs.
Technical Specifications
This is a server-side datapack, which means it needs to be installed either in a singleplayer world or on the server side for multiplayer sessions.
Technical implementation:
- The mod tracks all XP orbs without a specific tag
- Destroys the original experience orb
- Reads the "value" of that orb
- Encodes this value into a special effect color for a potion
- Creates a bottle with the "Bottle o' Enchanting" visual
- When thrown, the reverse conversion system activates
Compatibility and Usage
The mod integrates perfectly with any modpack and can be used for video content creation without restrictions.
