Owl's April Fools' - A Joke Data Pack for World Chaos
Owl's April Fools' is a completely unique data pack that transforms vanilla gameplay into total chaos. It introduces numerous unusual changes to game mechanics, making mobs more difficult and world generation unpredictable. Most importantly—it dramatically alters game progression by requiring rarer resources to craft Eyes of Ender.

Crafting
Just one recipe has changed, but oh, how it changed!
- Eyes of Ender now need 64 Ender pearls plus one each of: Blaze Rod, Diamond Block or Totem of Undying, Netherite Scrap or Heart of the Sea, Froglight (any) or Sponge, Netherite Ingot or Nether Star, Echo Shard or Pitcher Plant. Plus, there must be at least one in-game trim and pottery sherd—order in the crafting grid is irrelevant!
Loot Drops
- Endermen now drop way more Ender pearls when defeated
- Wither Skeletons are far more likely to leave their powerful skulls
World Generation Transformation
- Literally any structure can spawn anywhere! Exception: End cities in the End and fortresses in the Nether (to loosely “balance” the total madness—riiiight)
- You can place plants. ANYWHERE on any block! Endermen picking things up everywhere is the norm! On top of that, Sculk and Moss take over random blocks, and the trees impolitely stack, leaving others stuck, sometimes—spectacular forest destruction builds
- Imagine mountains—rocks flying. Some ores popping on the surface!. Different mixes of flora + foundational block types seem indistinguishable, becoming new...foundations.
