Owl's Ultimate QoL

This datapack fundamentally enhances the Minecraft gameplay experience by eliminating many inconveniences of the base version and adding useful features to improve gaming comfort. From more logical crafting recipes to expanded resource acquisition systems - everything is aimed at perfecting vanilla gameplay.

Extended Crafting Recipes

Crafting becomes more intuitive and accessible. You can now craft ore blocks by combining corresponding resource blocks with stone, deepslate, or netherrack.

Bundles, long-awaited items from previous updates, are now craftable using string and leather. Anvils can be repaired with iron blocks, and many previously meaningless items have gained useful purposes.

Pickaxes with enchants no longer allow resource duplication when crafting ore blocks — mournful balance is preserved!

Smart Resource Processing

Furnaces and smokers become more versatile. Rotten flesh is converted into leather in smokers, and many resources can now be processed faster and more efficiently.

Stonecutters receive numerous new functions, including processing various wood types, creating decorative elements and converting materials.

The least popular in-game items finally gain practical value.

Improved Loot System

Farming now yields more results! Fortune affects wheat and beetroot, while piglins more readily share valuable resources.

Fishing becomes more engaging — hearts of the sea can be caught in any biome, not just jungles.

Special drops added for various mobs. Guardians now leave behind valuable echo shards and disc fragments, and Wardens gained additional drop items.

Unique mod feature - villager trade prices are now reduced for all players, not just the one who cured them, making trade more socially oriented.

Innovative Game Mechanics

All paintings can be placed on walls.

Various mobs can be converted with lightning: guardians turn into elder guardians, piglins transform into piglin brutes, and even frogs can become rabbits.

New elements include repairing bedrock through crying obsidian, creating powdered snow in the End, and numerous other mechanics expanding game possibilities.

Technical Improvements

Mod adds convenient teleportation commands between dimensions:

• /function ouqol:tp_overworld - to the Overworld
• /function ouqol:tp_nether - to the Nether
• /function ouqol:tp_end - to main End island

Improved Frost Walker creates ice under you when falling into water, and copper blocks can be used for beacon activation.
