OxyTools - Copper Tools with Unique Mechanics

OxyTools introduces a completely new approach to using copper in Minecraft. Instead of standard tools with conventional durability, this mod adds copper tools that oxidize over time, gradually losing their effectiveness.

Oxidation Mechanics Features

Copper tools are crafted in the traditional way and initially perform slightly worse than their iron counterparts. As they are used, they don't lose durability in the conventional sense but begin to develop patina. Each stage of oxidation makes the tool less effective in use.

Risks and Restoration

Using a fully oxidized tool carries risks - there's a 10% chance it will break upon next use. However, you can restore your copper tools in several ways:

• Processing on a grindstone (this will remove enchantments)
• Being struck by lightning (the tool instantly clears oxidation)

Interesting Feature

Holding a copper tool during a thunderstorm makes you a more attractive target for lightning, adding an element of risk and strategy to gameplay.

The mod requires Fabric API to be installed.
