Pam's Mob Drop Crops - Growing Mob Resources Without Combat
This modification is designed specifically for players who prefer peaceful mode or have completely excluded hostile creatures from their game world. Special bushes and plants appear in the landscape that leave behind items typically obtained only after defeating monsters when broken.
Where to Find Valuable Plants
Various types of vegetation appear in specific biomes:
- Creeper Pods producing gunpowder can be found in forests
- Eye Bushes with spider eyes grow on sandy beaches
- Rotten Mounds with rotten flesh are encountered on plains
- Bone Piles with bones are located in deserts
- Slime Puddles with slime balls are scattered in swamps
- Ender Pedestals with eyes of ender are hidden in jungles
- Exclusively in the Nether grow Blaze Flowers with blaze rods and Tear Chalices with ghast tears
Cultivation System
To cultivate the obtained resources, it's necessary to combine the acquired mob items with regular wheat seeds. The resulting seed crops are planted exclusively on slow sand.
Most crops yield the highest harvest - from 2 to 4 items when collected. The only exceptions are Creeper Pods and Slime Puddles, which yield only one item each.
Growth Features
Main crops develop in a standard manner, but some species require special conditions:
- Creeper Pods grow similarly to pumpkins and melons - slow sand around the vine is required
- Slime Puddles spread like mushrooms - require significant areas of slow sand
- All plants are characterized by slow growth rate
- Only fully mature crops break upon collection
Configuration and Warning
The configuration file allows disabling the generation of any plant type and independently setting their rarity of appearance in the world.
Important note: In a standard game world with normal mob counts, the modification creates significant imbalance, making obtaining valuable resources excessively easy.
