Particle Culling
Performance Enhancement
This client-side mod optimizes Minecraft performance by preventing the rendering of particles outside the player's field of view. In situations with numerous visual effects, this can significantly increase frame rate.
Configuration Settings
The mod offers flexible configuration parameters:
- cullBehindBlocks - disables hiding particles that are technically visible to the player but obstructed by blocks
- cullBehindGlass - enables filtering particles behind glass and other transparent blocks (works only with active cullBehindBlocks)
- cullInSpectator - disables particle optimization in spectator mode, useful for creating screenshots without losing visual effects
- blockBuffer - determines the minimum number of blocks behind which particle hiding begins
- cullingEnabled - completely disables all optimization functions
- ignoredParticles - list of particle classes that should not be optimized. For example, to exclude Minecraft breaking particles add "net.minecraft.client.particle.ParticleBreaking"
