What the Pet Respawn Modification Does
This simple but useful modification solves a common problem in Minecraft: it prevents the permanent death of your pets. All tamed animals will now respawn under certain conditions.
Key Features
When your pet dies, it automatically teleports to your bed if you have one. It's important to note that teleportation occurs instantly, provided the chunk containing the bed is loaded in the world.
If you don't have your own bed, the pet cannot return and dies permanently.
Automatic respawning comes with a certain price: the animal's owner loses 3 experience levels each time a pet dies. However, this cost is configurable in the settings files – you can set any value, including zero.
When you don't have enough experience levels to pay for resurrection, the pet also dies permanently.
As additional protection, the settings include an option to reduce damage from the owner or other players using a special multiplier.
The modification supports compatibility with tameable mobs from other mods.
Important Limitation
Pet Respawn does not work with horses, donkeys, mules, and llamas, even if they are tamed, because these creatures don't have a defined owner in the game system.
