PetFish - New Dimension
Taming the Pet-Fish
Looking for a unique Minecraft companion? The PetFish - New Dimension mod allows you to tame a massive aquatic creature using fruitberries! Once tamed, you can mount this giant with any fish in your hand - be it a tropical fish, cod, or salmon.
These creatures are excellent for traveling across the game world: they equally confidently fly, walk on land, and swim in water. However, remember - your pet can't stay out of water for longer than 4800 ticks.
The distinguishing feature is the evolutionary "alpha version" system: your PetFish gains experience from victories over other creatures (experience amount depends on the target's health). When it accumulates enough experience, you can enhance it by feeding blocks of fruitberries to increase health and damage.
Available in 9 different types with unique characteristics:
- Blacky
- Blue
- Diamond
- Endy
- Firy
- Ghosty
- Goldy
- Greeny
- Pinky
Some types (currently Firy, Endy, Pinky, Ghosty) possess unique ranged attacks.
Transformation System
Obtain rare stones from the "Krat Orb" crystal to transform your pet into other versions.
Dangerous Inhabitants of the New World
Dark Giant
A massive monster with 500 health units and 16 damage units. Due to its weight, it moves slowly but becomes deadly dangerous when its health drops to critical levels - in this state, it can destroy blocks to reach its target. Its stunning roar pushes all creatures a significant distance away.
Goops
Small creatures that when defeated leave "meat" and their own skin. Be careful - they are stronger than zombies, so don't attack them without reliable armor.
Crypho Rhino
A powerful neutral mob that automatically attacks Dark Giants. When colliding, it can throw the player a considerable distance.
Krat Raptor
A neutral creature hunting cows, goops, and rabbits. Tamed and bred using meat. For interaction, use golden apples, enchanted golden apples, saddle, special raptor armor, and breeding items. To put to sleep, use Shift+right click - while resting, the raptor may slowly restore health.
Armor for Krat Raptors improves their defensive characteristics and can be enchanted up to level 5, additionally enhancing the following parameters:
- Armor
- Armor Toughness
- Knockback Resistance
Farming and Block System
Grow fruitberries using Suba trees, bushes, or special planting poles. The most efficient method is using poles - simply create the pole and right-click with Suba leaves in your hand to start planting.
Wave blocks form the foundation of the Krat dimension and are found in all biomes of this world.
Krat Dimension
The portal is created from fruitberry blocks and activated using the "Krat Orb" crystal. The new universe includes 3 diverse biomes with unique characteristics.
Suba Biome
Resembles the standard game world with specific grass, trees, flowers, and local cows and goops found here.
Dark Biome
Resembles black mountainous terrain with patches of vegetation. This is the most dangerous region inhabited by Krat Raptors, Dark Giants, Goops, and SkyWatchers.
Crypho
Desert-like world made of blue stone with randomly scattered variations of blue rock formations and populated by nine-tongued - neutral creatures.
