Phantom Plating
This modification transforms annoying phantoms into valuable resources, opening up new possibilities for players.
Creating Phantom Plates
Two phantom membranes placed on a crafting table turn into a durable phantom plate - the main material for new items.
Armor and Tools
From phantom plates, you can create a full set of armor and a set of tools. In terms of protective and combat characteristics, they are comparable to their iron counterparts but have increased durability.
Repair Features
Phantom items do not burn in fire. To restore them, simply throw damaged equipment onto fire burning on netherrack - over time it will completely repair itself.
New Enchantments
The mod adds two unique abilities:
- Phantom Escape (2 levels)
- Phantom Rider (1 level)
Phantom Escape
Available only for the chestplate. When taking damage, it grants the wearer invisibility for 5 seconds (level 1) or 9 seconds (level 2) and knocks back the attacker.
Phantom Rider
Works only on leggings. Allows you to mount a phantom with a simple right-click. Control is done by turning the camera - the phantom flies in the direction you're looking.
Important: the sound of a goat horn within a 50-block radius dismounts the rider from the phantom.
Phantom Behavior Changes
Phantoms can now be leashed, although they periodically try to break free. In the Nether, these creatures take on a red hue, and looking at them unlocks the "All Red" achievement.
Obtaining Enchantments
Curing a zombie villager has a 50% chance to add the ability to trade books with phantom enchantments. Repeatedly curing an already saved villager does not provide another chance.
