Phosphor-Legacy

Phosphor-Legacy is an adapted version of JellySquid's Phosphor mod, specifically designed to work with Legacy-Fabric. Currently, this is the original 1.12.2 Forge code modified for compatibility with Fabric.

About the Phosphor Modification

Phosphor is a free, open-source mod that helps reduce CPU load and improve Minecraft performance by optimizing one of the game's most resource-intensive systems—the lighting engine. The mod works both on the client and server, and players don't need to install the mod on their clients to connect to the server.

The developers of Phosphor aimed for minimal intervention in the game's source code, so the mod doesn't change the basic lighting model or interfaces of vanilla Minecraft. Thanks to this approach, Phosphor is compatible with most other modifications (unless they fundamentally alter how the lighting system works). If you encounter compatibility issues, please report them to the developers!
