Pick Block Pro
Pick Block Pro mod is an enhanced version of the standard block selection function in Minecraft, offering numerous additional features for both creative and survival modes.
Main Features
This client-side mod significantly expands the functionality of block and item selection. In survival mode, the search system now checks not only regular inventory slots but also containers within it, such as shulkers and bundles.
Advanced Data Copying
- Hold ALT when selecting a block to copy block state data in NBT format
- Combine with CTRL for simultaneous copying of block-entity data
- When selecting entities with CTRL held, mob data, armor stand poses, items in frames, and painting variants are copied
Unique Selection Features
- Selecting fire gives flint and steel (1.16+)
- Selecting the sun or moon provides a light block (1.17+)
- Selecting a player gives their head
- Ability to select falling blocks and fluids
- Configurable block selection range up to 100 blocks
Additional Tools
- Inventory slot locking to protect important items
- Automatic selection of the best tool for breaking blocks or killing entities
- Copying block IDs from the hotbar directly to chat
- Selecting block IDs from the world with copying to clipboard
Configuration
The mod includes an overrides.json file where you can configure which item should be obtained when selecting a specific block or entity. The configuration supports full work with NBT data.
To reload settings in-game, use the command: /pbp reload
Compatibility
The mod works on Minecraft versions from 1.14 to the latest and requires Fabric API. For versions 1.19+, Cloth Config API is additionally required. Mod Menu is optional for convenient in-game settings editing.
