Pickable Villagers
Active versions: 1.21.1
With this mod, you gain the unique ability to collect villagers as items and move them to desired locations. All villager characteristics are preserved: profession, development level, available trades, and even name.
Main Features
Collecting Villagers:
- Use Shift + Right-click or a hotkey (default: G) to pick up villagers
- Cannot collect sleeping, dead, or villagers more than 4 blocks away
- The collection process requires experience points (base cost: 2 × villager profession level)
Inventory Management:
- Direct trade interaction right from the inventory
- Child villagers cannot be picked up by default (configurable)
Trader Block
Placing Villagers:
- Place villager item in the trader block with right-click
- Extract villager using Shift + Right-click with empty hand
Workstations:
- Install workstation in the block with right-click
- Remove workstation: Shift + Right-click with empty hand
- Villager must be removed before workstation can be taken out
Trading:
- Open trade interface with simple right-click on the block
- Trade refresh only occurs when the correct workstation for the villager's profession is present
All features can be disabled or modified through configuration settings.
