Pillar Peril
Pillar Peril is an open-source game mode where you spawn on bedrock pillars and must win using random items that appear every few seconds. Some items may be useful for building, others for eliminating other players, and some may simply be worthless trash.
This mini-game first appeared on the popular YouTube channel CheapPickle and was later adapted by the well-known server CubeCraft—both versions served as the main inspiration for creating this plugin.
Features of This Version
The main advantage of this plugin is its high customizability and enormous variety of available game modes! Here are just a few of the many available modes:
Name | Cooldown | Time Limit | Pillar Layout | Description Blocky | 10 Seconds | 4 Minutes | Circular | You receive a random weapon at the start, but then only get blocks randomly. Chaos | 3 Seconds | 8 Minutes | Random | No item restrictions, pillars are placed randomly. CubeCraft | 5 Seconds | 5 minutes | Circular | Mode with rules identical to CubeCraft's "Pillars of Fortune". Item-Only | 10 Seconds | 10 Minutes | Circular | Only items are given, no blocks—making the game longer and more challenging. Original | 5 Seconds | 5 Minutes | Circular | Original mode from CheapPickle's videos. Coming Soon... | ... | ... | ... | Additional modes are under development!
Usage
Configuration
The configuration is designed to be simple and intuitive. All necessary settings are in the configuration file, which comes with detailed parameter descriptions. Future updates plan to expand customization options for different game modes.
Translations
Localization is automatically downloaded through a simple database, meaning you don't need to do anything extra—just have an internet connection. The download only takes a few kilobytes each time the server starts.
