Pixelmon - Pokémon in the World of Minecraft

The Pixelmon mod seamlessly integrates the Pokémon universe into Minecraft, allowing players to encounter, catch, and train these legendary creatures. You can participate in exciting battles, trade Pokémon with other players, and engage in breeding to obtain unique specimens.

Numerous new items are added to the game world, including famous Poké Balls for catching Pokémon, Technical Machines (TMs) for teaching new attacks, as well as various resources like bauxite ore and Apricorn fruits. For decorating your builds, decorative blocks are available - chairs, clocks, and other interior elements.

The combat system in Pixelmon closely resembles the original Pokémon games, following the mechanics of the eighth generation. However, some aspects have been adapted to Minecraft's features - for example, breeding Pokémon requires creating a suitable environment.

Unlike classic Pokémon games, there are no random encounters in tall grass or caves. Pokémon spawn naturally in the open world, and you can engage them in battle at your discretion. When Pixelmon is installed, standard Minecraft mobs are disabled by default, but they can be restored through configuration settings.

Poké Balls can be purchased in Poké Marts, which generate in towns, using the in-game currency Poké Dollars. They can also be crafted by gathering necessary resources - Apricorns and iron.

Most items, including medicines, Pokémon equipment, and TMs, are available from various sources:

• Crafting
• PokéLoot chests, similar to item-filled Poké Balls from the original games
• Defeating boss Pokémon - special wild Pokémon with mega-evolution
• The Pickup ability, functioning the same as in Pokémon games
• Purchasing in Poké Marts

Pixelmon offers complete freedom of action - you define your own goals. This could be completing the Pokédex, winning PvP battles, or any other achievements. Although the mod doesn't have a fixed gym system, servers can implement it using NPC trainers or appoint players as gym leaders, utilizing the available badges in the mod.
