Player Beacons

Basic Information

Tired of vanilla beacons being inconvenient when you have multiple bases? Maybe you prefer not to share your buffs with other players? Then this mod is made specifically for you! Player Beacons adds personalized beacons to the game that are tied to a specific player. Using the energy of the End, these beacons apply various effects to you regardless of your location in that dimension. Want to constantly have Speed 2? Easy! However, remember that the powers of the End should not be underestimated...

This mod was originally created as part of ModJam 2 during 96 hours of continuous work.

Crafting Recipes

For viewing recipes, it's recommended to use the NEI mod. If you have Thaumcraft installed, recipes won't display in NEI until you unlock them through the research system. This feature can be disabled in the mod settings.

Depleted Crystal: Right-click a beacon with an emerald in hand.

System Requirements

• Minecraft version 1.6.4
• Forge 953 or newer
• Thaumcraft (OPTIONAL - the mod works completely without it!)

Planned Updates

• Additional effects and expanded corruption mechanics
• Improved visual effects (partially implemented)
• Hostile beacons (can affect other players)
• Item for instant return to the beacon
