Plethora Peripherals
Plethora-Fabric is an adaptation of the Plethora mod for Minecraft version 1.20.1 on the Fabric platform. This project expands the capabilities of ComputerCraft/CC:Tweaked by offering various peripheral devices and metadata for both standard Minecraft gameplay and popular modifications.
The mod introduces special modules into the game that open up new horizons for players to interact with the surrounding world. These modules work especially effectively when combined with a manipulator, providing a wide range of functions for managing the game environment.
Main module capabilities:
- Introspection - analysis of the player's inventory contents and ender chest
- Scanner - examination of blocks in a specific area with detailed information retrieval
- Sensor - detection and analysis of nearby entities with metadata extraction
- Laser installation - powerful weapon that fires laser beams
- Kinetic enhancement - remote control of physical capabilities with increased strength
One of the most impressive features of the mod is the neural interface that can be installed on the character's head or any other creature. Using a neural controller, you gain the ability to interact with the interface carrier, install modules (which function as peripheral devices) and control them through the built-in computer. Creating a cybernetic army has never been easier!
Additional kinetic enhancement for the neural interface allows for various forms of control over the carrier.
Current project status
The adaptation for Fabric continues to actively develop. Initially, priority was given to SwitchCraft's needs, but in the future, support for all functions of the original mod is planned. Detailed information about differences between versions and code migration guide can be found in the relevant documentation.
