More Armor & Tools Mod – Expanded Equipment Options for Minecraft
Current mod version: v2.0.2 for Minecraft 1.19, compatible with Forge and Fabric
Additional Armor and Tool Types
This mod significantly expands crafting possibilities by adding ten new armor and tool variants from various materials you can create: redstone, copper, emerald, prismarine, lapis lazuli, amethyst, obsidian, nether quartz, and wood.
wooden set includes armor only
Characteristics and Benefits of Each Set
Wooden: Budget-friendly alternative to iron or chainmail armor – craft protective gear without needing to obtain leather from animals. Works with any type of wooden planks.
Redstone: Stronger than stone, these armor and tools are ideal for getting rare enchantments at low experience levels. Craft using redstone chunks (4 redstone on crafting table in a 2×2 pattern).
Copper: Copper armor is weaker than iron, but full set gives luck effect! Tools also show respectable performance.
Emerald: Tools attack faster, armor has increased toughness (+0.5). In durability terms, sits between iron and diamond – perfect transitional option.
Prismarine: No need to search for rare ores – farm prismarine shards from ocean guardians! More durable than stone, but less than iron.
Lapis Lazuli: Excellent enchantability compensates for average durability (same as redstone). Save experience levels when enchanting.
Amethyst: More durable than iron armor (but weaker than obsidian and diamond). Tools are stronger than iron, armor – less protective.
Obsidian: Easily accessible material with good durability (weaker than diamond). Armor provides significant knockback resistance, but weapons are slower. Not fireproof like netherite.
Nether Quartz: Equal durability to iron. Tools and armor crafted from quartz prisms (6 quartz in tower shape on crafting table) – no need to return to Overworld for equipment!
Compatible with Fabric and Forge loaders, all textures match vanilla game style.
